どちら

The same ど- that always asks the question, as in どれ and どこ. Meat or fish, and the waiter is waiting. Two things on the table and you have to put a finger on one: どちら.
The polite one. どっち is the casual version, and こちら, そちら and あちら are the rest of the set. どれ asks the same thing of a set you can see.
