まさか
by no means, never!
Someone tells you he did it, and your face moves before your mouth does. No. Not him. Surely not: まさか.
Usually followed by a negative, or left hanging on its own as a flat 'no way'. 決して けっして is the flat never of a promise. まさか is disbelief.
