Where a person is standing and where a thing has been put. The same いち as one, except that this one is about where rather than how many. North of Tokyo, on the map: いち.
Same reading as 一 いち, one. 立場 たちば is where you stand in an argument and ところ is a place loosely. 位置 is where a thing sits on a map.
