Mnemonic

Behaving the way an adult does, which said of a grown woman means she does not make a fuss. The same 大人 as ever, and nothing しい added to her: おとなしい.

Worth knowing

Not childish and not shy either. It is the word for somebody calm and undemanding, and it is meant as a compliment. 静か しずか is quiet as in no noise.
