Mnemonic

A bow, and the line beside it is the string coming back. The same ひく as 弾く, except that this pull makes no noise. Pull a card, pull a muscle, pull the door marked push: ひく.

Worth knowing

Very wide. Drawing a card, looking a word up, and 風邪を引く, catching a cold. Later comes 弾く ひく, playing a string instrument. 描く かく is the other draw, putting a picture on paper.
