つく
to arrive
Whatever was travelling has come down and stopped moving. The same つく as the mud that came with you and the light that was already on, except that this one is you, at the office, at ten: つく.
Same reading as 付く つく, to attach, and つく, to be switched on. The character is the one in 着る, to wear, and both are about something coming to rest on a thing.
