The same character as arriving, because this is clothes arriving on you. The same きる as 切る cutting, except that nothing here is being cut: suit on at seven and it stays on until midnight: きる.

Worn on the upper or whole body. 履く はく is anything below the waist. Same reading as 切る きる, to cut, which the kanji keeps apart. 入れる いれる is putting a thing inside something.
