うけとる
to receive, to take (someone's words or behavior)
受ける taking what comes and 取る closing a hand round it. Not simply that it arrived: you tore とる the slip off and signed for it: うけとる.
Both halves are already in the deck. It also covers taking a remark a certain way: 悪く受け取る. 頂く いただく is the humble receive, and かかる is take of time or money.
